Engineering our own solutions for a stronger future.
October 12, 2026
We are proud to announce an important milestone for OMIKRON KAPPA CONSULTING SA. Τhe internal release of the first four applications of our new EasyCalc / ProCalc engineering software platform, developed entirely in-house by our engineering team.
Our first release includes EasyCalc Pile, for axially loaded bored piles and pile-group analysis; EasyCalc Shallow Foundations, integrating bearing capacity, settlements and reinforced-concrete footing checks; EasyCalc Wall, combining retaining-wall geotechnical and structural design; and ProCalc FEM – Shallow Foundations, our 2D finite-element platform for layered soil and nonlinear soil–structure response.
For us, developing engineering software is much more than automating calculations.
It is about transforming our engineering knowledge, experience and design philosophy into tools that we fully understand, control and continuously improve.
When engineers develop the tools they use to solve real engineering problems, the calculation process becomes more transparent and auditable. Assumptions remain visible. Different design approaches can be compared more efficiently. Repetitive calculations can be automated, while engineers can dedicate more time to interpretation, verification and engineering judgement.
Most importantly, the knowledge gained from every project can progressively become part of the company’s own engineering infrastructure.
This is why we see in-house software development as a long-term investment in Omikron Kappa’s technical capability.
EasyCalc and ProCalc are being introduced through a structured internal verification process. During the initial rollout, results will be checked in parallel against established software, independent calculations and engineering benchmarks. Our objective is not simply to develop faster calculation tools, but to build a reliable, traceable and continuously validated engineering ecosystem.
And this is only the beginning.
Several additional applications are already under development, expanding the EasyCalc / ProCalc environment into new areas of geotechnical and structural engineering. They will be progressively introduced over the coming months.
Our ambition is to create an integrated software ecosystem that grows together with our engineers, our projects and our technical experience — connecting analytical design, numerical modelling, verification and automated engineering reporting within a common environment.
