We are happy to announce that Marilia Balasi, Tunnel & Geotechnical Engineer MSc. of OMIKRON KAPPA CONSULTING S.A. since 2017, has been elected as the Vice President of the Greek Tunnelling Society (GTS) Board for 2024-2027.

Marilia is an active member of GTS since 2014. She was the Editor in Chief of the GTS Bulletin (2017-2021). She was a key member of GTS Young Members Group as well as of the Organizing Committee of the World Tunnel Congress 2023 that was held in Athens, Greece, in May 2023 (Marketing & Information Committee Chair).
