OMIKRON KAPPA CONSULTING SA is proud to celebrate the commissioning of the “Thessaloniki Metro Extension to Kalamaria”. A flagship infrastructure project and a significant milestone in the continued development of Thessaloniki’s urban transport network.
As a Lead Designer, OMIKRON KAPPA CONSULTING SA has been involved in the project since the tendering phase, contributing throughout the development of the General and Detailed Designs for key elements of the metro extension to Kalamaria, including the two single-track TBM tunnels (7km), Mikra Station complex, forestation and other major design elements.
Heartfelt congratulations to all those involved in the project, from Elliniko Metro and the Greek State to every engineer, designer, specialist and member of the project whose dedication and expertise made this milestone possible. We are proud to have contributed to a project that will shape the future of mobility in Thessaloniki and have a lasting impact on the city and its communities.
